Jackson's First Snow

What a treat today was! It is SO rare for us to get snow I was beyond thrilled. None of it stuck but it was fun while it lasted. Jackson and I (okay, mostly I did...) had a great time playing in the snow!

5 months old!

Is it just me or did he JUST turn four months old!?! Is there a pause button I can push somewhere? I guess not...*sigh*...here are some pictures of my adorable five month old. I take this shot each month with his bunny to show how much he's grown. It's amazing to see how much he changes in a month!

Sweet Giggles

Jackson loves his Aunt Leah and Aunt Sarah (my sweet sisters) and when they come to visit he is covered in kisses. Daniel's 28th birthday! Thirty is just around the corner...for both of us...wow! Jackson was memorized by the smoke from the candles.

Jackson had his first rice cereal this month. He is doing great and would prefer to feed himself.

This was his very first bite of rice cereal.

I saved the best for last. Jackson is such a ball of sunshine! He brings us such joy and I am so grateful (and completely smitten). There is nothing I love more than to hear his sweet laughter. Lately he is amused by the silliest things but as soon as I grab the video camera, he stops. Luckily, I captured some of his giggles to share with you.

Fun Day

Jackson's four month checkup was yesterday. We were thrilled to hear that he is officially well and we are now allowed to join the rest of the world. Ten days of being cooped up was beginning to make me crazy. In celebration of Jackson's recovery and the hopeful return of my sanity we went to a "Mommy and Me" class for babies at The Little Gym. We had a blast!
