Goodbye December...and 2009!

Here are some pictures from the month of December. I cannot believe that today is the last day of 2009. What a joy this year has been!
We have story time each day and it amazes me how into it he gets. He smiles at the pictures and pays such close attention to each page, it's adorable. Jackson loves his leapfrog "Spin a Letter" toy from Sassy and P. He spins it on his own all the time and is so proud of himself. The other night while cooking dinner I put him in his Bumbo seat and put his toy on the tray. I noticed that the music stopped (it only plays if it's spinning) so I looked over to check on him and found this. This picture cracks me up! Obviously the toy was a little too close to his face. He was trying so hard to focus on it. :0)

Jackson LOVES bath time! He is very amused by his rubber ducky and splashes water everywhere.

He loves his Daddy.
I took this picture during "tummy time" which is not Jackson's favorite time of the day. He is learning that if he rolls over tummy time ends. I just love his big blue eyes and chubby little cheeks.

I love him more each day, it's unbelievable to me. He has so much personality. I look at him and my heart melts! I can't wait for all of the adventures that 2010 has in store!

3 Months Old/ Change of Plans

Jackson is three months old today! Look at how much he's grown. He weighs 16 pounds and is in the 91st percentile.
We are ready for Christmas!
Mommy and Jackson going to meet Santa

Jackson and Santa

My angel is three months old! Jackson is growing so fast, I'm scared to blink. He is so animated these days and loves to "talk" and "sing". His favorite song to perform is "Away in a Manger"...we can do quite a duet. I am trying to capture this on video...no such luck so far.
In other news, after much prayer and consideration I resigned yesterday so that I could stay home with Jackson full time. Although I LOVE my job, my role as a mother is more important at this time. I will return to teaching in a few years but for now I am thrilled to say that I will be spending each day with my little boy. I am so thankful for this opportunity, a husband that is so supportive and a little boy who has turned my world upside-down in the most wonderful way ...God is so good!
