First Father's Day/ Sarah's Wedding

Today was Daniel's first Father's Day. Jackson had a lot of fun making a present for his Daddy. Here's the finished product...

This one cracks me up...

Jackson is nine months old. He is such a big boy! He loves books, swinging, being outside and snuggling. His favorite toys include all things that are not meant to be toys (i.e. cell phones, computers, cameras, remote controllers, etc.) and his favorite food is yogurt. He sings and dances with music and has begun to army crawl all over the place. His "crawl" is hilarious, hopefully soon he will learn how to crawl with his belly off the floor because it would be SO much easier than his current "kick like I'm swimming with my left leg, push with my right leg, pull with my right arm, ignore my left arm" method. (He looks part pirate, part snake, part injured crab.)

He never meets a stranger and loves to wave at everyone. He is such a joy and I cannot believe that we are getting so close to his first birthday!

8 Months Old!

Jackson's eight months old!

Jackson's dedication at church was on Mother's Day. We were thrilled to have our families there!

"And Hannah said, For this child I prayed and the Lord has answered me what I asked of Him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given to the Lord." 1Samuel 1:27-28

He LOVES his new swing!

Words cannot begin to express how thankful I am to celebrate Mother's Day with my little boy this year! I hope that Jackson grows up knowing that before he was conceived he was wanted and before he was born he was loved. Each day that love grows. I am so proud to be his Mommy. Before having Jackson I never understood what others meant when they said "after having a child, your heart forever wanders about outside of your body"...now I do.

Yay! The blog is working again!

Without further ado, here are some of my favorite pictures from the past month. Can you see my teeth? My lower central incisors are coming in!
Mommy and I went on our first road trip to visit the Hill family. While there, we went to the Montgomery Zoo. I had SO much fun and was thrilled to see a real giraffe.
