Update

It's been too long, now I don't even know where to begin. I know I said I would update you every ten days on my reading through the bible in ninety days and it's been way more than ten days. (Sorry!) We have been so busy! I am still going strong. I am in Psalm and loving this journey. God is revealing new things to me each day and I am almost half way through!

Below are two cakes I made recently. I just finished my second cake class and love trying the new things I have learned.


My little guy is growing like a weed! He was 11 months old on August 8th. He is pure joy. He is pulling up on everything and "cruising" holding onto furniture. He will walk holding onto one of our hands and can stand alone for a little while before he realizes he's standing alone and plops down.

This past month he has said: "dad", "dog", "bird", "uh-oh", "ball", "fower" (flower), "BewBew" (Bella- my sister's dog), "out", "eat", "eye", "book" and "boom" (when he falls). Some of these words he's only said once. It blows my mind when he points to something and says it's name. Did you notice something missing from this list? Well, I did! He is apparently saving "Mama" for a special occasion. I can't wait to hear that word!!!
